In our networking class, we were allowed the freedom to pick the any program for creating our website. I tried several sites but found Tripod to be the easiest.
I would recommend for those who want to use Tripod that the first time, they use it while you are in the editing mode, go through each button at the bottom of your screen so you can learn all the capabilities about Tripod. They allow you to add links, picture, change your background and change the format.
Some of my fellow students used Front Page and highly recommended that program.
